I curated a collection of items to explore human behaviour in prioritising luxury versus necessity when faced with the scenario of being stranded on a desert island. The manual presented a range of items from practical survival tools to comfort-oriented luxuries, delving into the reasons and decision-making of the individuals that reveal their preferences and values. By analysing the choices individuals made, the project offered insights into how people weigh immediate needs against long-term comfort, highlighting the complex balance between essential survival and psychological well-being.
